Lovely Dakota has officially been renamed Dakota Fanning Archives.

This change represents the beginning of a brand-new chapter for the site. Along with the new name, we’re introducing a new administrator, a fresh layout, and regular updates to the photo gallery, making it easier than ever to explore and follow Dakota Fanning’s career through a well-organized and up-to-date archive.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Fan Carpet for allowing the adoption of Dakota’s site and making this new phase possible. Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to Gabby, whose love, dedication, and hard work over the years laid the foundation for everything the site is today.

We hope you enjoy this new era of Dakota Fanning Archives. Take a look around, explore the updated gallery, and stay tuned for many more updates as we continue to celebrate Dakota’s remarkable career.

Hi everyone! Long time, no see!

I’m finally back to updating the site, and have designed a new layout in celebration of my return. I hope you like it as much as I do! Our gallery, our sidebar and our internal pages need some love, but I’ll tackle them in the upcoming months. I’ll try and update with whatever comes out from now on, and at some point I’ll backtrack and upload the content we’ve missed through the past couple of years.

I will no longer update the Out & About section of our photo gallery, and intend to delete it in the near future. So here’s a fair warning, in case you’d like to save anything from that category. Dakota attended the “Teen Spirit” premiere to support her sister Elle Fanning! The event took place in Los Angeles on the 3rd, and she was also sighted out and about earlier on the same day. Our gallery has been updated with the images.

Dakota attended a couple of events this week, and the images from them both have been added to our photo gallery!

Dakota is featured in a recent InStyle article about Rodarte! New photos of her have been released with it, and they were probably taken on the same day as the brand’s fashion show in Paris back in February – you can view photos of Dakota at the event here. Our gallery has been updated with the newly released session!

Our gallery has been updated with candids of Dakota in Los Angeles on February 19 and 23! She celebrated her Birthday at Universal Studios with sister Elle Fanning, her boyfriend and her mom.

Today is Dakota’s 25th Birthday! According to a beautiful photo she posted earlier on Instagram, she seems to have been celebrating with friends. We hope this has been a beautiful day, and that this new year of her life is full of love and joy. Make sure you leave her a message, too! ♥

Dakota attended the grand opening of The Armani Box pop-up store a couple of days ago! Our gallery has been updated with images of her at the event.

The first still of Dakota in the movie Sweetness In The Belly has been released! It was shared as an exclusive first look by Variety, and we’ve added it to our gallery.
