DAKOTA FANNING TALK ABOUT "UPTOWN GIRLS"

Since making a big splash with her role as Sean Penn's daughter in "I Am Sam," Dakota Fanning's career has really taken off. In "Uptown Girls," Fanning stars opposite another rising young star, Brittany Murphy, as the two team up onscreen for lessons on life, love, and growing up.

Have you ever had a nanny?
No I haven't actually, but if I ever had one, I'd want her to be exactly like Brittany.
Did she teach you anything on the set?
She taught me life lessons that I'll remember for the rest of my life. She's nice to everybody and makes everybody feel special.
How did you prepare for this role?
I watched "The Odd Couple." It's very similar to "Uptown Girls," two different personalities living together. I had fun. One of my favorite things about doing movies is that you get to do different things you'd never do in real life.
What's it like working on sets with older actors, and not having many kids around to hang out with?
I was thankful that I've learned so much from everybody on all my movies.
