... 9-year-old Dakota Fanning should team up with 25-year-old movie beauty Brittany Murphy for some road pictures. At least, that's the sense you get listening to "Uptown Girls"co-producer Fisher Stevens, who is convinced that the Dakota-Brittany chemistry in his Aug. 15 MGM release is something extra special. The pair plays the notoriously disobedient daughter of a record company executive (Heather Locklear) and the spoiled young Manhattan socialite who is forced to become her nanny.

To hear Stevens tell it, they come off as "kind of like Hope and Crosby, or Redford and Newman when they did "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.' They were hilarious together on and off screen,and there's a great respect and support they have for one another.' Brittany echoes his sentiments, declaring, "Dakota is one of the most extraordinary people I've met -- just humans, forget about age -- in my entire life!'

Last year, we predicted nothing but big movies with big names in Fanning's future, and so it is. Myers" Cat in the Hat" movie in the can and is currently handling what may be her most emotionally difficult role to date. Dakota is now filming "Man on Fire," opposite Oscar winner Denzel Washington. The Fox dramatic thriller revolves around Fanning's character, who is kidnapped and murdered."
